Personal Care Assistance

We understand and respect each person’s individuality and needs, which is why we meet with each new resident and their family and conduct an assessment prior to move-in. For residents requiring a higher level of personalized care, our on–site Home Care Services offers a package of increased services at an additional fee. Those who need extra help with ambulation, transfer, eating, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, grooming, and personal hygiene benefit from support at this level. It enables seniors to "age in place" with discreet, compassionate and appropriate care.

Individuals needing a higher level of personal care may be eligible for Medicaid funding. Qualifications for the NY Assisted Living Program (ALP), the NJ Assisted Living Medicaid Waiver or other Medicaid options can be discussed with an Amber Court Assisted Living Community Representative.
