Our family welcomes yours.
Owners and founders, Alfred and Judith Schonberger, lovingly manage Amber Court Assisted Living Communities. With characteristic devotion, they have brought unmatched quality care to seniors since 1968. Their shared vision is centered in a commitment to provide every resident with a highly personalized program. It is a comprehensive approach designed to meet medical, emotional, social, and psychological needs.
The Schonberger's dedication to serving the aged is rooted in their parallel childhood experiences. Born in Europe during the Holocaust, they had each grown up without grandparents. It was the absence of these precious relationships that fostered a lifelong desire to connect with elders and include them in their lives.
This pledge to make a meaningful difference to seniors extends to affiliations with several organizations. Mr. Schonberger chairs the Quality Assurance Committee at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and serves on the executive board of the Empire State Association of Assisted Living, where his wife is also a member. He is one of the esteemed founders of the renowned Kesser Rehabilitation Center as well.
At the helm of every Amber Court Community is a second generation of family members. A visible daily presence, each of them upholds long established values and traditions. Their active participation assures the preservation and continuation of an outstanding legacy.
In 2006 the company's original name, 3C Communities, was changed to
Amber Court Assisted Living Communities to reflect unity and growth in new directions.
